Mental Health
Mental health affects physical and emotional health as well as relationships with others. Mental health concerns are common.
Early Childhood Intervention
Central Plains Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) is part of a statewide program for families with children, birth to three, with disabilities and developmental delays.
Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities
Intellectual Disability, once called mental retardation, is a below-average cognitive ability where there are three identifying characteristics.
Substance Abuse
Support for teens and adults is available through outpatient programs focused on recovery skills, counseling, and personalized substance use treatment
Crisis Services
Central Plains Center provides crisis services to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. These services include a face-to-face assessment to ensure treatment in the least restrictive setting.
Recovery Support Services (RSS)
Central Plains Center’s RSS program became operational in May 2014 after being selected for funding by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
